Nice park but even more beautiful once you escape the park on to the river. They allow rafts but not my inflatable paddle board. Also the spring itself doesn't have any deep or areas or anything too interesting to look at.
Pristine nature at it's finest. The spring is unbelievable... crystal clear water...so invigorating. What a beautiful feeling of clean and euphoria after a swim in these waters. I'll be back!!!
Lovely! Nice campsites (no electricity) the springs are beautiful. Not many people there on Thanksgiving weekend. Well maintained section of the Florida Trail.
One of the best state parks. Awesome clear spring. Great swimming and snorkeling. Cool and refreshing on a hot day. Put in your canoe at K. P. Hole park, paddle up River and have a swim. Then paddle back
Amazing place to walk around trails or play in the springs, as well as kayak and canoe. Many people inner tube in the area, too. Grills and picnic tables there for cookouts and parties. They used to record the old Tarzan movies there. Campgrounds are great. The only thing I would warn of is that there is not an area to just walk into the water with a toddler, so be prepared for that.
