5. I have not been refunded or reimbursed or anything for my lost goods. All they can do is track my packages and tell me they don't know where it is. (What I can do at home, myself.)

3. They have lost TWO packages I've shipped and have not gotten back in touch with me after two weeks of saying they'll contact me,
It is a very small size building and even a smaller parking area the outside mail box blocks traffic if someone stops to use it
Girls who work there are good and competent but the office is far too understaffed and small for the population it serves. That post office needs to be made larger and another 1 or 2 counters open since about 10 years ago.
Poor service, Very disrespectful man with a mustache working there. Treated me like I'm below him. I brought a package in weighing 7 oz the postage was paid for 6. Postage was originally 1.70 There was no difference in the price but refused to ship my package unless I bought a completely new label for 1.70. They also refused to refund my old label. So basically I payed double to have my package shipped. No wonder the post office is going out of business. I bet if I bring in a package with a label that I over paid for they wouldn't say a word. I also brought a car seat in to ship to a family member as a gift. It costs 140 new, they wanted 153 dollars for regular shipping. It weighed less then 30 lbs. FedEx shipped it for under 40 dollars. I think the Dunnellon post office may be running a scam!!! Buyer Beware!!!!!!
1. Always under-staffed
Update: I have now had new problems with the Dunnellon post office. Over the last two months I know longer receive mail on Mondays I do however receive an email stating they tried to deliver my packages but are unable, they call it a delivery attempt but they never even drive by or leave the note they stated they have left. Even better is the fact that my business is affected by this, the shipper also receives this message and wonders why I'm unavailable for so many packages. The post office has now made me look unreliable when it is them that is unreliable and they are now liars. I now have to reschedule my missed delivery attempts nearly every week. There was also an important package that was paid to have it here by Wednesday it's now Tuesday and still know package. They offer no solution to fix there mistakes, no refunds for the rush postage that is being delivered as economy. Again this has been going on for over two months I have filed complaints and the post office is well aware of the situation but they continue to lie and say delivery is attempted. When at all possible I will know longer use usps and I do believe a lawsuit should be filed considering they are lying on top of charging for services they are not providing.
